Receiving Jesus Christ is simple.  Most people already believe in Him, the other part is receiving Him. By doing so He promises to give you His Holy Spirit.  This is what causes a person to be Born-Again and have eternal life with Jesus Christ in heaven. VERY IMPORTANT.  

To Receive Jesus Christ into your heart you can do the following:

• Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He died on the cross for your sins and that He rose again from the dead.
• Believe that He alone has the power to forgive you for ALL your sins, past present and future.
• Confess to Him that you are a sinner and that you need His forgiveness and confess that He is Lord of your life.
• Repent, which means that you choose to turn your life away from sinful ways and follow Jesus Christ.
• Pray with your heart and mouth the prayer below.
• Begin a new life with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior by attending a Christian, non-denominational church that teaches only from the Bible.  This will help you grow in Christ.  Very important.
• Pray something like this with your mouth:  "Jesus Christ, I believe that you are the Son of God, and that you died on the cross for all of my sins and paid the price that I could not pay.  I believe you rose again from the dead.  Jesus, I am a sinner and need your forgiveness.  Jesus I need you as my personal Lord and Savior,  please come into my heart and live with me now and forever, I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!  Thank you Lord Jesus".
